Missions "Forum" on June 7, 1030-1100 (1115)

There will be a Missions Team Forum on Sunday, June 7 between 1030-1100 (maybe to 1115)in the Youth Room. This is open to all who are interested in Mariners’ Missions and/or who would like to serve. We will highlight some very positive developments regarding the Faith Fund and the budget, the variety of communication methods we are beginning to use, forthcoming linkages between Missions and small groups, future ministry opportunities supported by Mariners’ elders and other senior leadership, and, of course, updates across the spectrum of our supported missions here and across the globe.

Please forgive the use of the term "Forum", but it was the best I could use to describe the intended feel of the gathering. Want to push alot of info out, let people know where they can go to keep informed, and to solicit volunteer assistance (and answer questions, as time allows). Depending upon the response, we will have these gatherings every few weeks, monthly, or very few months. Goal is to get people linked both "horizontally" (working side-by-side) and "vertically" (working to meet Mariners' Leadership goals). Would love to have leaders step up and "take the ball" in many areas (like Matt Picciotto with Disaster Operations Team) as glorify God by refining and expanding our Missional outreach.
