Mariners' staff had a calendar planning meeting last week, and I was very delighted to represent Missions.
Key take-aways from the meeting:
1) We presented our ministry goals, burdens, and key dates. I will be sharing those in a subsequent series of posts. Want to be transparent and let you know some of what is on the horizon...
2) Missions is most certainly going to continue to play a strong role. One of Bill's primary goals is Evangelism, and you will be hearing more about that in the fall.
3) I was able to get several Missions meetings scheduled on the Main Church calendar. It will be on our website soon (as we load the meetings into the online community, they will populate our calendar on our website).
4) There are lots of great opportunities to serve, especially locally, in Missions, and in other ministries as well.
